With dents on its former beauty,
That these black faces rush and pound upon,
With such indifference and callousness
Gazing towards the peak of this never ending path,
Towards that long, cold metal pole,
With all my dearest strangers glued to the ground before it,
They all stand in military line, waiting for the tardiest of transports,
With no amiable faces to greet me
Joining with stoic face,
Knowing deep within lays the deepest of expressions,
The warmth of the skies rises before me,
And I raise my heavy head to reach its gaze,
Watching the daily ba
